Capitol has just installed signage and an awning to the new restaurant Lucia's, located in the Greenwood section of Brooklyn. The new pizzeria and trattoria spot is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and with their fresh signage is already making an impact in the area. Look at the finished product as well as a photo of the upper sign taken from the Gowanus Expressway.

Here we see two side by side retractable awnings that will provide shade, and with the summer we just had, some much needed protection from the rain. Filippo's Ristorante Italiano Patio Enclosure

Staten Island restaurant Filippo's has just completed a great idea to keep their patrons comfortable during this Spring and Summer season. They've chosen to enclose a patio area for increased privacy and to create a more intimate dining environment.
See the open area in the "Before" photos below and check out the "After" photos taken upon the installation completion. Clear vinyl "windows" were added at the tops of each panel to allow light to enter the new room. These days many businesses are looking to renovate as well as bring in new clientele and something that is quick and cost effective such as enclosing a patio can really add to a restaurant's atmosphere.

Here we see Capitol Awning continuing its partnership with the USTA and the US Open Tournament. The US Open is New York's one an only chance to shine in the world of professional tennis. There are spectators, cameras and reporters broadcasting globally and the spotlight is always focused on one thing. Our custom printed Patio 500 back walls. Metropolitan Museum of Art, Kwoma Installation

Capitol Awning is proud to say that our work is now being shown in the Metropolitan Museum of Art! Opening Wednesday, November 14, 2007 will be the newly renovated Galleries of Oceanic Art. Inside you will be able to see the above installation we've covered with Sunbrella. The new exhibit will contain art work from the Kwoma people of New Guinea, as well as Australia and the islands of the southwest Pacific. On top is the finished covering and in the two lower pics you can see the frame work and the covering process.

US Tennis Center, Flushing, Queens

FOUNTAIN CAFE @ LINCOLN CENTER, NYC

Here we see the before photo of the Fountain Cafe located at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, not too inviting. However, after a complete recover with custom digitally printed stripes on Sunbrella, the Fountain Cafe is drawing in cutomers interested in the arts, as well as passers by enjoying the Upper West Side neighborhood.
